Cooking Your Catch: Sauce

The sixth installment of our Cooking Your Catch series is dedicated to sauces.

CUCUMBER SAUCE

1 medium cucumber, chopped; 1 cup sour cream; 1 tablespoon Minced Onion with Green Onion Flakes; 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce; 1 teaspoon lemon juice; dash Lemon Pepper.

Wash and chop cucumber.  Add sour cream, Onion Flakes, Worcestershire, lemon juice and Lemon Pepper.  Chill.  Serve with baked or poached fish.

TARTAR SAUCE SUPREME

1 (10 oz) package Tartar Sauce; 1 cup mayonnaise; 1/4 cup sweet pickle relish; 1/4 cup chopped toasted almonds.

Prepare sauce as directed on package.  Add relish and almonds.  Chill 30 minutes before serving.

SEASONED BUTTER

Melted butter may be used as a sauce seasoned with one or more of the following ingredients: garlic, lemon, lime, parsley, dill, onion, chives, almonds, plus desired seasonings depending upon your palate.
